While reports have been flying around this week about the Boston Celtics possibly swinging a deal to unload point guard Rajon Rondo, there's at least one source out there saying it won't happen. From TNT's David Aldridge:

Rondo has been mentioned in a number of high-profile rumors this season, including a Chris Paul deal back in December and a trade for Pau Gasol floated out there last month. An ESPN report this morning said the Celtics were "aggressively" shopping the All-Star guard.

One way or another, we'll find out soon. The NBA trade deadline approaches on March 15. The Celtics are 17-17, tied for seventh in the Eastern Conference. Rondo is averaging 14.2 points, 9.6 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
