Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose and Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawsone were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, according to NBA.com.

Rose, the league’s reining MVP, helped lead the Bulls to a 4-0 record this week. He also averaged 28.8 points, 7.5 assists, and 1.75 steals per contest. He is now averaging 22.8 points, 7.7 assists, and 3.2 rebounds per game on the season. Lawson led the Nuggets to a 3-0 mark last week. The 24-year-old averaged a double-double on the week, tallying 20.7 points and 11.7 assists per game. He also registered 7.0 rebounds per contest. Lawson is averaging career highs in points (15.9), and assists (6.6) this season.
