The Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed defensive tackle Antonio Dixon and traded offensive tackle Winston Justice, according to the team’s official website.
By trading Justice and a 2012 sixth-round pick to the Indianapolis Colts, the Eagles save approximately $4.2 million on the salary cap. In return for the trade, the Eagles receive the second pick in the sixth-round of this year’s draft. Spending much of the 2011 season on injured reserve, Dixon was re-signed by the Eagles for 2012. In all 35 games he has played in the NFL, Dixon has compiled 62 tackles, 3 sacks and one blocked field goal.
