Report: Jeremy Shockey Would Like To Return To Giants

Former Pro Bowl tight end Jeremy Shockey would like to play for his former team, the New York Giants, according to the New York Daily News.

Shockey was traded during the 2008 offseason after demanding to be moved from the team that drafted him in the first round in 2002. The outspoken tight-end was reportedly upset that the Giants were using him as more of a blocker than a receiver.

The 31-year-old has since spent time with the Carolina Panthers and the New Orleans Saints, but is now a free-agent. Last season he caught 37 passes for 455 yards and four touchdowns for Carolina.
