Payton was suspended last week for the entirety of the season by the league for the player-bounty system that was established under his former defensive coordinator, Gregg Williams. In total, the Saints were fined $500,000 and lost second round picks in 2012 and 2013. Williams was suspended from the league indefinitely, and Saints general manager Mickey Loomis was suspended for eight games.

Parcells last served as the head coach for the Dallas Cowboys in 2006. Over his 22 year head coaching career, he posted a 172-130 record, with two Super Bowl victories.
