Fuld originally suffered the injury in September, but has waited to get surgery, which is scheduled for tomorrow. Last year Fuld gained notoriety in Tampa after hitting .350 through the team’s first 23 games. He also made several amazing diving plays in the field. The outfielder finished the season hitting just .240/.313/.360 with three home runs and 27 RBI.
