Troubled Ex-NFL QB Ryan Leaf To Remain In Montana Jail
Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf will remain held in a Montana jail while authorities in Montana and Texas work to revoke his probation on 2010 drug charges, according to the Associated Press.
Officials told a Montana newspaper that Leaf could be held for as long as 30 days.
Leaf, a former second overall draft pick, was arrested Friday and Monday on suspicion of breaking into homes and stealing prescription medicine. Leaf was initially put on 72-hour hold, but that was extended Tuesday.
