Yankees' Andy Pettitte 'Feeling Good' After Workout, Targeting May Return

New York Yankees hurler Andy Pettitte played catch at the team's spring training facility in Tampa today, and he's now looking forward to pitching Monday in extended spring training, according to the Associated Press.

“I’m feeling great,” Pettitte said. “So far, so good.”

Pettitte also threw a 45-pitch bullpen session yesterday. Monday's appearance will be his second taste of game action since he came out of retirement and signed with the Yankees on March 16. Pettitte threw a scoreless inning in the Yankees’ spring training finale Wednesday against the New York Mets; he'll face Philadelphia Phillies minor leaguers Monday.
