Poll: New Yorkers Want Mark Sanchez, Not Tim Tebow, To Start For Jets

A Quinnipiac University poll released Monday shows that New Yorkers prefer Mark Sanchez as their starting quarterback over newly-acquired Tim Tebow, and it's not even close, according to FOXSports.com.

Forty-three percent of participants think that Sanchez should start, against just 16 percent in Tebow's corner. Sixty-one percent of proclaimed football fans chose Sanchez, as well.

Still, New Yorkers approved of the trade for Tebow, 42 percent to 15 percent.
