Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Willis, And Calvin Johnson Advance To Madden Final Four

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis, and Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson have been announced as the final four remaining in the Madden 13 Cover Vote competition. The winner of the fan contest will appear on the cover of the 2013 edition of EA Sports’ yearly video game.

Newton, Rodgers, Willis, and Johnson defeated Larry Fitzgerald, Ray Rice, Victor Cruz, and Rob Gronkowski respectively in last weeks voting. Fans will have the opportunity to vote between now and April 18 to decide who will advance to the championship match.

Newton appears to be the odds-on favorite to win the contest. The second year quarterback has won each of his match-ups with at least 70% of the vote. To date he has defeated LeGarrette Blount, Antonio Gates, and Larry Fitzgerald.
