Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban jabbed back at New Jersey Nets Owner Mikhail Prokhorov who this week jokingly told reporters that he would “crush” Cuban if the Mavericks were to woo Deron Williams away from the Nets in free-agency.

"He obviously didn't see me be the first in WWE history to put Sheamus on the mat," Cuban told ESPN. "He knows not what he gets himself into."

Cuban’s comments were in reference to his 2009 guest appearance on WWE’s Monday Night Raw.

"Let the best man win,”  Prokhorov had originally jested when asked if he was concerned about the Mavericks attempting to sign Williams. "If he wins, I will crush him in a kickboxing throwdown." Williams, an All-star point guard, is averaging 21.3 points and 8.6 assists per contest.
