The Houston Texans have signed former Dallas Cowboys linebacker and free agent Bradie James, according to ESPNDallas.com.

James, a fourth-round pick in 2005, had led the Cowboys in tackles for six consecutive seasons prior to last year, when he split time with second-year linebacker Sean Lee.

The trade will also spurn a reunion, as James and Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips will be reunited. Phillips and James were in Dallas together for four seasons. In seven seasons, James has 746 tackles and 15.5 sacks, all with Dallas.
