Tim Tebow Booed By Fans At Yankee Stadium

New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow did not receive a very warm welcome at Yankee Stadium on Sunday Night.  Instead, the newly acquired Jets quarterback was greeted with loud boos from the New York fans, even while sporting a Yankee cap, according to ESPN.

Tebow, sitting alongside Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade who was also wearing a Yankee cap, was in attendance at the Yankees-Angels game on Sunday night.  Sitting on the third-base side behind the Angels dugout, the two stars were shown on the giant video board separately, each getting their own share of boos.

After the game, Yankees reliever David Robertson said to reporters, “That was funny. I’m sure there were cheers and boos. They say this is Giants territory.”  Along with Tebow and Wade, New York Knicks rookie guard Iman Shumpert was also in attendance and expectedly, received loud cheers from the New York fans.
