Jessica Dorrell, who was with former Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino when he crashed his motorcycle on April 1, has resigned from her position in the Arkansas athletic department in the wake of the scandal, according to ESPN.

"While Ms. Dorrell had a legitimate right to apply for and accept a position within the football program, the circumstances surrounding the former coach's decision to hire her compromised her ability to be effective in such a position," UA athletics director Jeff Long said, according to FOX Sports.
"She and I believe she should have the opportunity to move on." Dorrell allegedly had an “improper relationship” with Petrino, who was fired by Arkansas last week. According to FOX Sports, Dorrell was given $20,000 in cash by the coach after she was hired from a pool of over 150 candidates on March 20.
