The New York Yankees have signed pitcher Nelson Figueroa to a minor league deal, according to MLBTradeRumours.com.

In 2011, the Houston Astros released the 37-year-old in August after he posted an 8.69 ERA.

The Toronto Bluejays then signed Figueuroa in January only to release him shortly after. In his nine-year career, Figueroa has an 4.55 ERA with 334 strikeouts.
