Boston Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford was in Boston Tuesday getting his left elbow re-examined, according to ESPNBoston.com. Manager Bobby Valentine said the team is still "gathering information", but there is concern in the clubhouse.

"Until a guy is 100 percent, you always have concern," Valentine told ESPN.

There has been no timetable set for when Crawford could resume throwing. Crawford is in the second year of a seven-year, $142 million contract.
