The Cleveland Browns may attempt to acquire a third pick in the first round, according to NFL.com.
The Browns currently hold the No. 4 and the No. 22 picks in the first round of the NFL Draft, which is set to take place tonight. Reports indicate, however, that they have strong interest in quarterback Brandon Weeden but that they are not likely to take him with their 22nd pick.
The Browns may elect to trade for a third pick in the first round if they believe Weeden will be selected before the team picks again in the second round. Weeden, 28, holds the Oklahoma State Cowboys single season records for passing yards (4,727). Completed passes (342) and total offense (4,209).
