The New England Patriots are reportedly interested in trading for the Seattle Seahawks No. 12 pick in the first round, according to NFL.com.

The Patriots currently possess the No. 27 and No. 31 picks in tonight’s first round. The club has reportedly contacted the Seahawks directly to see what it would take to acquire their first pick as well. It is believed the Patriots are looking to improve their defense through the draft this season. The Patriots finished 13-3 last season, which was good for the best record in the AFC. The Seahawks finished the year with a 7-9 record for the second consecutive season.
