Amar'e Stoudemire Apologizes Via Twitter For Punching Extinguisher

New York Knicks star Amar’e Stoudemire has apologized to fans for an incident following last night’s loss to the Miami Heat in which he punched a fire extinguisher and injured his hand.

Stoudemire reportedly cut his hand badly enough with the punch that doctors and paramedics were summoned to the locker room.

The Knicks lost Game 2 to the Heat 104-94, putting them in an 0-2 hole in their first round series match up.
