Researchers In Boston Attempting To Acquire Junior Seau's Brain

A group of researches in Boston are attempting to obtain the brain of recently deceased Pro Bowl linebacker Junior Seau, according to Sports Illustrated’s Peter King.

Seau was found dead yesterday in his home in Oceanside, CA of a gunshot wound. Police are reportedly investigating the death as a suicide, which has led some to speculate whether Seau had suffered from brain trauma during his historic NFL career.

Over the course of his career he tallied 56.5 sacks, 18 interceptions, and 1,524 total tackles. He was a 12 time Pro Bowler and a 10 time All-Pro.
