New York Jets first-round pick Quinton Coples was held out of 11-on-11 team drills Saturday because of “a coach’s decision,” according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

[tweet https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/198855152965398528 align='center'] Coples, 21, was drafted sixteenth overall by the Jets in April’s draft. The defensive end was named first-team All-ACC in 2010 and 2011 at North Carolina. In 2011, he recorded 7.5 sacks and 15.0 tackles for loss.
