Major League Baseball is expected to announce that the 2013 All-Star Game will be played at Citi Field, sources have told ESPN New York.

The announcement is expected to come tomorrow and the ceremony is expected to take place at City Hall and include Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

The Mets last hosted an All-Star game in 1964, the team’s first year at Shea Stadium. Yankee Stadium hosted the 2008 All-Star Game. This season, the All-Star Game will be played in Kansas City.
