ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier today that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were working out tight end Dallas Clark, hoping to strike a deal with him this week. Now we have an update -- Clark and the Bucs are getting closer, and a final agreement is expected within 24 hours.
Clark is a former Indianapolis Colt -- after nine years in Indy, Clark parted ways with the Colts in March when the team began a firesale after the departure of Peyton Manning.
Clark had 34 catches for 352 yards and two touchdowns for the Colts last season.
The Buccaneers are reportedly working on a trade to unload their current tight end, Kellen Winslow.
