Roger Goodell: Future of NFL Pro Bowl still uncertain
In a media briefing at the NFL's Spring League Meeting, commissioner Roger Goodell said that the league continues to have discussions with its network partners about what to do with the NFL Pro Bowl, but that nothing has been resolved yet.
"If we can’t improve it and can’t make it more competitive, then we shouldn’t play," Goodell said, according to a transcript at NFLCommunications.com.
Goodell added that he would like to have another meeting with Players Association chief DeMaurice Smith to relay the networks' feedback, before making a decision "pretty quickly after that conversation with De."
