Amid the talk today that New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow threw two picks in several 7-on-7 drills today, starter Mark Sanchez's agent may have gotten more people talking and basically declared the competition over.

Tebow, was traded in March to be Sanchez's backup, was picked off by linebacker Bart Scott and two plays later safety Yeremiah Bell got his hands on a Tebow pass. Tebow said he was running those plays for the first time.

Agent Brian Murphy tweeted that Sanchez is going to outperform Tebow because "Sanchez is a franchise quarterback and Tim is a great athlete."
