One of Major League Baseball's best catchers this season is now on the 15-day disabled list. The culprit? A suitcase.
In a bizarre addition to the Milwaukee Brewers' injury problems, catcher Jonathan Lucroy was ruled out after a suitcase fell on his hand in his hotel room, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel
Lucroy was searching for a lost sock under the bed when his wife moved the piece of baggage, which fell on his hand. Lucroy is expected to miss 4-6 weeks of action because of the injury.
Lucroy has been on a hitting hot streak as of late, owning a .388 batting average in the month of May.
