Seahawks, Dolphins, Redskins, Chiefs to try out Brian Banks

A week after being acquitted of rape and kidnapping charges stemming from a 2003 incident that resulted in the alleged victim recanting her testimony, Brian Banks, a high school linebacker set to play for USC at the time of his charges,  is now scheduled to try out with four NFL teams. Rick Reilly of ESPN.com reported on Wednesday that the Redskins, Chiefs, Dolphins and Seahawks will look at Banks for a spot on an NFL roster:

A judge in Long Beach, Calif., threw out his kidnapping and rape conviction last week after looking at a videotape of his accuser admitting she lied. After 10 years, he was suddenly a free and innocent man.

"My mouth hurts from smiling so much," Banks told me Tuesday night. "Unbelievable."
