With Game 2 between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat tied in overtime, Boston point guard Rajon Rondo drove to the basket and, as he attempted a tough layup, took a hit across the face from Dwyane Wade. No foul was called.

After Miami's 115-111 win, Rondo and others talked about the play.

"I think it was obvious," Rondo said, according to a story by USA Today's Scott Gleeson. He later added, "A lot of controversy out there. Just didn't go our way."

"We all thought he got hit," Celtics guard Ray Allen said.

Non-call aside, Rondo was spectacular Wednesday in a 44-point, 10-assist, 8-rebound game. SportsCenter anchor John Buccigross tweeted a pair of facts that put Rondo's performance in historical perspective.
