The Seattle Mariners continue to play musical chairs with the leadoff spot.

Mariners manager Eric Wedge has put outfielder Ichiro Suzuki back in the spot for tonight's game against the Chicago White Sox, reports MLB.com.

Suzuki has batted first for much of his 11-year big league career, starting 1,720 of his 1,784 games in that spot. Third baseman Kyle Seager, who leads the Mariners with a .278 batting average, will now bat third.

Wedge put Suzuki in the three-spot to give Chone Figgins more opportunities to play, but Figgins has regressed and is now a part-time utility player.
