Chris Bosh will play in Game 5 against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night in Miami, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com:
According to multiple sources, the Heat are hoping to activate Chris Bosh for Tuesday's Game 5 if he doesn't suffer a setback in workouts over the next two days. Bosh declined to discuss his status following the Heat’s 93-91 overtime loss to the Boston Celtics on Sunday, which tied the series at 2-2.
While his return would obviously be positive news for the Heat, players who come back from abdominal strains typically need a while before they play starters minutes.
Bosh was cleared by team doctors to travel to Boston on May 31 and has been working on the court with trainers, but he hasn't played in a game since suffering the strain on May 13 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Indiana Pacers. The Heat have remained mum on Bosh throughout his recovery and likely won't confirm his status for Game 5 on Tuesday until a few hours before the game.
