Report: 3 finalists for Orlando Magic general manager job include Thunder, Spurs execs
The three finalists for the Orlando Magic general manager job are Oklahoma City Thunder assistant GM Rob Hennigan, San Antonio Spurs executive Dennis Lindsey and former New Orleans Hornets GM Jeff Bower, according to a tweet by Yahoo! Sports writer Adrian Wojnarowski.
Previous Orlando general manager Otis Smith agreed to leave the organization after the season. Head coach Jeff Van Gundy was also fired after the season.
The new Magic GM will have one of the most watched jobs this offseason: deciding what to do with star center Dwight Howard, who will have one year left on his contract. Most reports have said Howard wants out of Orlando. The new GM will reportedly determine whether to trade the franchise's best player this offseason.
