More bad news for the quarterbacks in Cleveland Browns camp fighting for a starting position. Browns team president Mike Holmgren threw a heap of praise toward rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden on Thursday, which essentially means it is his job to lose.

"He's as prepared to come in and start as any rookie I've seen in a long time," Holmgren said.  "He is gifted. There is a maturity level because of his age. He is a different rookie because of that." The Browns went 4-12 last year and did not win a game against their division opponents in the AFC North. They needed a boost with their offense after ranking 30th in the NFL last season in scoring offense, so they drafted Alabama running back Trent Richardson and Weeden in the first round.
