Report: Free agent PG Jason Kidd prefers Dallas Mavericks, Brooklyn Nets

Point guard Jason Kidd, an unrestricted free agent this summer, would like to return to the Dallas Mavericks, but is also interested in signing with the Brooklyn Nets, according to tweets from media members about his comments this afternoon.

As reported by Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, Kidd seems intrigued by the idea of playing with fellow free agent point guard Deron Williams.

Williams played for the Nets last season, and various reports have pointed to his displeasure that the team has failed to land center Dwight Howard in a trade. Williams is also a Texas native, leading some to believe he would strongly consider the Mavericks.
