It's been a busy holiday for both the Phoenix Suns and Marc Stein of ESPN.com.

On the heels of the Steve Nash sign-and-trade, Stein is reporting that the Suns have agreed to a three-year, $18 million contract with free-agent forward Michael Beasley, late of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Here's the full story. Beasley scored a career-best 19.2 points per game in the 2010-11 season but dropped to 11.5 ppg last year, when he started just seven of 47 games. The second overall pick in the 2007 draft, Beasley's talent has never been questioned, but maturity issues have kept him from reaching his potential.
