Terrell Owens seems like he is doing everything he can to prove that he has the skills to compete for a job on a NFL roster. Having New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees playing pitch and catch with you certainly can't hurt.  Whether that gets Owens an invite to a training camp is a different story.

According to, Owens joined Brees and a host of NFL quarterbacks at an impromptu throwing session in San Diego on Thursday.  Among the other players joining Brees and Owens were quarterbacks Carson Palmer, Kyle Boller, Sean Canfield, and running back Darren Sproles. Also Saints backup Chase Daniel said the thumb he injured last month is good to go.
