Reports: Cowboys' Dez Bryant arrested on misdemeanor charge

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was arrested Monday in DeSoto, Texas, the local Dallas-Forth Worth television station WFAA reported Monday. Local Fox affiliate reporter Mike Doocy reported that Bryant was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.

WFAA contacted Bryant, who did not go into detail about the arrest.

"I'm good, I'm good," Bryant told the station. WFAA reported that he was with a "close friend" Monday night.

The latest legal issue would be one in an already long line of off-the-field problems for Bryant. In January, Bryant reportedly fought with people tied to rapper Lil Wayne outside a Miami nightclub.

Bryant has been sued multiple times, the latest of which came last December by a New York-based company that said he failed to pay back $100,000 in loans. In March 2011, Bryant faced two lawsuits for allegedly failing to pay for jewelry worth more than $850,000.

Also in March 2011, off-duty police officers at a mall issued Bryant a criminal trespass warning after he got into a spat with the officers, who asked him and three friends to pull up their pants to cover their underwear.
