Michael Crabtree's streak of injured beginnings is continuing into this season. However, he may yet appear in his first career preseason game. Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area reports that the fourth-year wide receiver has returned to practice after injuring his leg in the 49ers first practice of trianing camp on July 27.
Maiocco reports that Crabtree brought pads and wore football pants to practice for the first time since his injury, but it is not yet clear if this means he will participate in full practices anytime soon. It also isn't known if he will be able to participate in a preseason game.
