The Cleveland Indians have been active Thursday, first placing designated hitter Travis Hafner on the disabled list, and now they are getting rid of their pitching coach.

Indians let go pitching coach Scott Radinsky and Ruben Niebla will replace him. Radnisky was promoted to the job in October 2011 after two seasons as the Indians bench coach. The Indians' pitching staff enter the day next to last in the American League in ERA (4.77), strikeouts, and last in walks allowed and WHIP.  The Indians have also given up 571 runs this season, the most in the AL.
