Did boo-birds hasten Cardinals trading Tyler Greene to Astros?

Did St. Louis Cardinals fans help usher infielder Tyler Greene out of town?

Matt Snyder of CBS Sports reports on Greene's trade to the Astros in exchange for a player to be named later and cash considerations.

To make room for Greene, the Astros have designated Brian Bixler for assignment.

This move is most interesting because of Greene's recent struggles prompting St. Louis fans to boo him. In fact, he said the following of the fans who were displeased with him Tuesday night:

"Then don't come to the game. Just cheer for your team. That's all I can say about that." (via foxsportsmidwest.com)
