In an article posted on Saturday, Washington Redskins wide receiver Josh Morgan told Michael Coleman of On Tap magazine that rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III is a combination of three of the NFL's elite signal-callers.
“He’s as fast as Michael Vick but he can make all the throws that Peyton Manning can make and he can make all the reads Tom Brady can make,” Morgan said. “He’s got the whole package.”
Talk about raising the bar. Coach Mike Shanahan has been pretty effusive in his praise of Griffin, but we can't help but wonder what he thinks about Morgan's hyperbole. Morgan, by the way, is in his first season with Washington after spending four years with the San Francisco 49ers. Maybe he's just lobbying for throws?
