The New York Jets said they wouldn't wait until gameday to make a decision on the status of cornerback Darrelle Revis. The team wasn't lying. Head Coach Rex Ryan announced today that Revis will be held out of this Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Revis was cleared for non-contact drills for the first time on Friday after suffering a concussion in last week's win over the Buffalo Bills. However, the Jets didn't feel that Revis could effectively contribute this weekend, and have added him to their injury list alongside tight end Dustin Keller and linebacker Bryan Thomas, who are both out with hamstring-related ailments.
