Thunder GM Sam Presti said center Kendrick Perkins will likely miss the entire preseason, according to The Oklahoman's beat writer, Darnell Mayberry. Mayberry was live tweeting from Presti's annual preseason news conference on Wednesday afternoon:
Perkins suffered a ligament tear in his left wrist during the Western Conference finals against the Spurs and continued to play through during the NBA finals. He had surgery on the wrist in July. The nine-year veteran averaged 5.1 points and 6.6 rebounds in 26.8 minutes during the regular season and started in all 20 playoff games last year. Orton, Thabeet and Aldrich started in a combined 5 games last season.
