Orlando Magic play-by-play announcer David Steele translates: Assuming this is true, it's an interesting approach. Because while it's all fine and good to fine someone after the fact, what if the flop causes a team to lose a possession and thus a chance to tie or win the game? We'll see if the threat of a fine serves as enough of a deterrent.
