Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin is on crutches for a sprained ankle and said he is a "long shot" to play Sunday against the Detroit Lions, reports ESPN.com.

Harvin sprained his ankle in the Vikings' 30-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks and had just two catches for 10 yards and three rushes for 27 yards when he left the game in the second quarter. Harvin underwent an MRI on his ankle on Monday and it showed only an ankle sprain in three places and no fractures.

Harvin has missed only three games due to injury in his four years in the NFL. Harvin has a NFL-leading 62 receptions for 677 yards and three touchdowns this season.
