Thomas Linze Johnson, Texas A&M football player, reported missing

A police search is underway for Thomas Linze Johnson, a football player for Texas A&M who has been missing since Monday evening, according to a release from the Texas A&M campus police department.

Johnson was last seen leaving his home in College Station, Texas at 5 p.m. on November 12th. Since then, he has not been heard from by teammates, coaches, or friends. The Police release states that he has family and friends in the Dallas area, and may have been traveling there.

Texas A&M head coach released a statement about Johnson's disappearance, via KBTX:

All of us are obviously very concerned about the safety and well-being of Thomas Johnson, who has been missing since Monday evening. Authorities are working closely with his family, friends and law enforcement agencies to help locate him. Thomas is a tremendous student-athlete, greatly admired by his fellow teammates and all of us on the coaching staff. If anyone has any current information about him or knows of his whereabouts, please contact his family or law enforcement authorities immediately. We pray for his quick and safe return.
