Beating out President Barack Obama, Lady Gaga and Big Bird, New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow was voted by Americans in a Nielsen poll as the guest they'd most prefer to have seated with them at a Thanksgiving dinner table, according to a report from The New York Post:

The survey, released today by Destination America, shows that 23 percent of people in the United States said they would prefer the Jets backup to the Commander in Chief, who only garnered five percent of the vote.

Lady Gaga and Big Bird also received more votes than Obama.

Tebow and the Jets will be celebrating Thanksgiving doing battle with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, as the two teams kick off a game Thursday night at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The Jets are coming off their fourth win of the season after a road win last week against the St. Louis Rams. The Patriots beat the Jets in Week 7 and currently lead the AFC East as the team looks for its eighth win of the season tonight.
