Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick failed his concussion test on Wednesday and will be out Sunday as the team looks to avenge its Week 10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, according to a report from the Eagles and a tweet from Jeff McLane, Eagles beat reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The news only confirms what fans had been hearing all week; head coach Andy Reid had hinted during a press conference that Nick Foles wold make his third NFL start this Sunday in Dallas. According to the report released by the team, Vick has not been cleared to practice as the result of the failed concussion test:

Vick has made substantial progress since suffering a concussion in the Week 10 game against Dallas. He returned to meetings last week and took part in throwing sessions over the weekend. Passing the ImPACT test, which compares current a player's current state to baseline, is one of the final hurdles that Vick needs to clear before he can fully return to action.

In the previous home game against Dallas, Foles, a rookie, came off the bench and recorded 219 yards, completing 22-of-32 pass attempts with one touchdown and an interception. The Eagles ended up losing 38-23.
