Free agent pitcher Joe Blanton has agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Angels, according to tweets from CBS Sports' Scott Miller and Jon Heyman.

https://twitter.com/JonHeymanCBS/status/276489644865122304 Blanton spent four season each in Oakland and Philadelphia before being traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers late in the 2012 season. Blanton had a 10-13 record in 2012 between the two teams, with a  4.71 ERA and a career-high 166 strikeouts. Blanton won a World Series in 2008 as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies.
