Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is set to see a hand specialist for torn ligaments in his left index finger and the team fears he could miss the rest of the season, the team's website reports.

Bryant told reporters after the Cowboys' 20-19 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals that the injury to his finger was just a sprain, even though Bryant was seen wearing a splint. Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said there is a "50/50" chance that Bryant plays again this season.

“I sprained it,’’ Bryant said, according to the Dallas Morning News. “Taped it up, wrapped it up a little bit and just got back out there.’’

Bryant has 75 catches for 1,028 yards and nine touchdowns this season for the Cowboys, who have won two games in a row and are still in the hunt for a playoff berth in the NFC. In Bryant's last five games, he has caught 33 passes for 525 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Cowboys (7-6) still have games left against the Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints and Washington Redskins.
