Ken Whisenhunt will remain the Arizona Cardinals coach through the remainder of the season, the team's president said Monday, reports AZCentral.com.

Cardinals president Michael Bidwill made the statement after the team was beaten 58-0 by the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, with many speculating if Whisenhunt would remain the coach. Whisenhunt has a 44-49 record in six seasons with the team.

Bidwell told media members that there was a lot of blame to go around for the team's performance and that there will be an evaluation from the "top-down." Bidwill also said he didn't want to make decisions about the team's future based on emotion. The Cardinals have lost nine games in a row, after starting the season 4-0. https://twitter.com/sbordow/status/278268796567949312
